yoga teacher
Jane began practicing yoga when she retired and has been a member of the Shanti community since it opened. She is a proud member of Shanti’s first 200 hour Yoga Study and Teacher Training graduating class and has a certification in Trauma Informed and Resilience focused Yoga.
As a teacher, Jane's classes focus on breath work with slow and steady movements to increase balance, strength and flexibility. She draws her inspiration from Yin and Iyengar yoga as well as Traditional Chinese Medicine, Qigong and Pranyama. Jane is passionate in bringing yoga to an aging population and to keep everyone upright and moving.
Outside of the studio Jane loves to travel, spend time with family and care for her two “grand dogs.”
